Our current method of electing our fearless leaders sucks - to put it simply. There has to be a better way. What if - we only voted for people we actually know and meet. And they vote for the next tier - etc. It's called "representative democracy". It could end parties, advertising, fund raising, and signs in yards - Lord help us all.
