I am blessed to call America my home. I live in a land of opportunity, a land of freedom, and a land of prosperity. I am able to become whoever I aspire to be thanks to the many shades of Democracy. When looking at democracy and how to define it, I immediately related Democracy to what I love… art. Art takes on many forms. It encompasses a variety of mediums and may be appreciated in many different ways. By the same token, Democracy allows numerous races to live and excel together. It gives us freedom to chose our party and our preferred style of leadership. We may belong to different organizations, come from different family styles, worship different ways, and hold different cultural backgrounds, yet in the end, we all may come together under the common thread tied together by Democracy.
