Richard T. Kirby is a soldier and welder and his wife Charlotte D. Alexander is a former journalist. We wrote this together years ago and shared it with our children most recently... We felt the vote the passengers made on Flight 93 impacted many lives including our own when Rick went to war years later. Their sacrifice is a tremendous heartfelt and heroic example of our democracy at work. And it hasn't been forgotten.
