Lobbying poses a conflict of interest to democracy. Our government should be made by the people, for the people, not by rich corporations and PACs alone. This video gives examples of how the common citizen can play into the system, and have a voice in democracy.

I am a Registered Nurse aspiring to go back to school to acquire my RN-BSN (Bachelor's in Science in Nursing) at Michigan State University. I became involve with politics while volunteering my time to collecting signatures for a cause that was important to me. I have learned so much about democracy and the power of the people in the process. I feel compelled to share my tips on how to have a "voice" in politics in this video. Thank you for this opportunity!

I liked your video. Great goal - my entry shows one focused strategy to help accomplish more informed participation. I believe it will increase voter turnout, and it provides a forum for the kind of conversations you are promoing. Look at my submission. "Elections Clarified" https://vimeo.com/64616892 or
