“A World Without Government”
.
Imagine a world without government.
What would we be able to achieve then?
People would have no sense of attachment,
Nor would they care for their fellow men.
When there’s no control in society,
The only thing left would be anarchy.
How would we regulate society?
Business cannot prosper in anarchy.
As one wise man said a long time ago,
Government is used to enforce contracts.
Contracts are important, as we all know,
To do business; without social contracts,
No one could sell land, nor take many risks.
Without government, who would build our roads?
Who would print our money on bills, and disks?
Who would protect our nation from the loads
Of foreign threats that we receive each year?
How could we promote technology, and
Science without a patent office here?
Tell me, what is a motto of our land?
There is one called “E Pluribus Unum”.
It means in English, “Out of Many, One.”
We, the citizens, create the “Unum”
Through our unity, and becoming “One”.
The United States is a place of bliss.
The only way to maintain unity,
Justice, and equity for all in this
Nation is to embrace diversity.
If we wish to hold our posterity,
The government must maintain unity.
