Freedom of speech is an important aspect of American democracy. It is this freedom that gives citizens the chance to speak up and represent themselves. There are many advantages in our nation that aren't attainable internationally, simply because of this one basic right. Time and again, Americans have defended this freedom, and it is truly an amazing privilege granted by our government.
