A group of undocumented and documented immigrant youth in Tennessee are dedicated to promoting the education, professional development and personal growth of the next generation.
“’How We See Democracy’ allows us to hear a marginalized voice in our democracy. It’s an important representation of how immigrant youth see democracy playing out in their own local communities. We are a government by THE PEOPLE and for THE PEOPLE not big businesses and bipartisan groups that think they can dictate what democracy should be. There should be no limitations to Freedom in Democracy for a people or person who wants a better life for themselves and their family.
