The GeoDeliberation Project
The GeoDeliberation project is working to enable democratic decision-making in local communities through place-based deliberative dialogues. GeoDeliberative tools can help citizens engage directly with local city planners to benefit changes to the community.

This project sounds like a great way to get involvement from people who often can't attend planning meetings. With a good spam filter and troll-safeguards, this will be an excellent tool!
