myvotenow.org
Have an opinion about an upcoming bill? myvotenow is a website accessible from your smart phone or computer that lets you have a say in Washington . . . and keep tabs on whether your representatives are listening. It enables you to send your votes on upcoming bills to your representatives, then stay up to date on how your representatives vote over time. Here's how it works: myvotenow gives voters online access to all upcoming legislation, filtered and ordered based on the individual's preferences, and an easy means to vote on those items. Then myvotenow tallies those votes and provides a summary of the results in time for the representative to consider their constituents' voices. Representatives' votes are then displayed, so voters can see how aligned they are. myvotenow puts the power of democracy in the palm of your hand. Visit http://myvotenow.org for a complete description. (myvotenow is going to be incorporated as a 501(c)(3).)

This is such a great idea! The concept is well thought out and I would love to have this type of app to provide feedback to Washington as well as easily see how the people I think are representing me really vote.

Fantastic combination of purpose, intent, technology and focus. This is a natural extension of democracy, elevating all to be informed by fact and preferences. Conversations about washington will be changed!

I think this is a logical next step for both voters and the democratic process.

Simplifying the way that people learn about issues and then provide feedback to their representative government is a great use of the internet. This is the type of system that congree should use, however until then this website is a great start.

This is creative and purposeful technology. It is a wonderful way to centralise and automate so many otherwise manual processes - and to improve the likelihood that Americans will participate in our democracy!

State of the Art, I hope there are a lot of participants that will become aware that this type of technology/service allows citizens to participate in an on going direct impact fashion

This is a fabulous idea. Long over due, it is a great way to track what legislation is pending and what our legislators are up to. Best thing since being invited to a smoke filled back room.

Finally, we can be heard. Very cool idea. The aggregation of this information will be particularly useful.

Many of us are looking at having a more representational government. This easy to use app gives my voice more impact and let's me know who is listening.

Long time coming! Maybe the precursor to true democracy: on-line voting!

This app is badly needed. It will be very useful for the politicians to see how their constituents stand on proposed bills. Hope it becomes available soon. I would want to see how all of Federal and State congress members voted if possible, maybe with the use of a map of the US, showing each state and the voting results. Good luck, hope this project is a success.

What a nice complement to WeThePeople. Now we can weigh in directly on the issues, as well as petition. Let freedom ring...
